Medical
history review:
Your medical condition is reviewed to verify nothing has changed that
may impact your dental health. Your
oral health is also evaluated for signs of possible unknown health concerns. |

Blood
Pressure Screening:
Your blood pressure will be taken to help screen for your safety and
to help alert you to unknown medical conditions such as hypertension. |

Cancer
Screening:
Your oral cavity (mouth) tissue and neck will be evaluated for signs
of cancer. |

Dental
x-ray and panorex:
Digital x-rays or a panorex may be take to help diagnose dental
problems. We utilize modern digital x-ray to minimize your exposure to radiation. |

Measure
your gums and bone health:
Your gums and amount of bone surrounding your teeth will be evaluated
and tracked to determine your periodontal health. |

Adult
and Child Dental prophylaxis:
This is the procedure most commonly thought of when getting your
teeth cleaned. The calculus and
tarter will be removed from your teeth and your teeth will be polished.
This could include deep scaling when needed. |

Fluoride:
If indicated, you may receive fluoride treatment to help prevent
dental cavities. |
|
Sealants:
If indicated and desired, children may receive dental sealants.
In this procedure a clear dental sealant will be applied to your
child's teeth to help prevent future decay. |

Education:
Your hygienist will help educate you on the proper care of your teeth
to improve your oral hygiene and thus your overall health. |
